The V house is a paradigmatic example of the sensitive integration between architecture and nature. Organised in a “V” plan, the house consists of rectilinear volumes that, protecting themselves from the prevailing north and northwest winds, open generously to the south, embracing the garden and not so distant sea. The stone skin imparts a sense of solidity and timelessness to the house, reinforcing the monolithic character of the volumes. Subtly positioned stone louvres filter natural light while ensuring privacy on the façades facing the pool and the suite at the eastern end.
The pool, with its long and narrow geometry, complements the house’s volume and creates a visual resting point in the garden. The lush, tropical-inspired vegetation ensures privacy and integrates the house seamlessly into the landscape. Pedestrian access to the house is via the eastern side, crossing a bridge over the garage access ramp. The master suite, on the upper floor, offers panoramic views and a contemplative terrace.
The house reflects an architecture that prioritises spatial fluidity, harmony with the environment, and the use of durable materials, aiming to create a serene and timeless retreat.
