Refurbishment of an apartment in Lisbon which involved a reorganization of the living areas, aiming to achieve a space that is both functional and exquisitely designed.

The most significant change in this intervention was the relocation of the kitchen from one end of the apartment to another, to optimize space utilization and improve the flow within the living areas.

The former kitchen and maid’s room were transformed into the master-suite, allowing the so desired separation between the social and private areas.

With this refurbishment we tried to achieve an example of design and functionality working in harmony. The change in layout, the use of high-quality materials, the custom carpentry and the lighting design have combined to create an inviting, practical, and distinct living environment.
